In 2020 and 2023, they were highlighted as standout examples of good practice: <\/p><p>2020. Good practice<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museocivicodibracciano.it\/en\/the-museum-and-its-community-doing-together\/#orsini\"><b>December at the Court of the Orsini family<\/b><\/a>, an event dedicated to the Renaissance in Bracciano. For this occasion, the Civic Museum staged the theatrical play &#8220;I Adore You, Bella,&#8221; inspired by the story of Paolo Giordano I Orsini and his wife Isabella de&#8217; Medici, lords of Bracciano in the 16th century. The play was based on a meticulous study of their correspondence.<\/p><p>2020. Good practice<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museocivicodibracciano.it\/en\/a-museum-for-all-accessibility\/#punto-polisensoriale\"><b>Multisensory point Venus and Adonis<\/b><\/a>, which offers a unique way to experience this sculpture through a different approach that engages the senses.<\/p><p>2023. Good practice<br><a style=\"text-decoration: var( --e-global-typography-text-text-decoration ); background-color: #fbf6ed; font-family: Lexend, sans-serif; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 400; text-transform: none; font-style: normal; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: 0px;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.museocivicodibracciano.it\/en\/a-museum-for-all-accessibility\/#progetti-educativi-accessibilit%C3%A0\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold;\">The museum is me<\/span><\/a>, an educational project that had already won the &#8216;Wikimedia Italia GLAM &#8211; Small Museums&#8217; award.<\/p><p>2023. Excellence<br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museocivicodibracciano.it\/en\/a-museum-for-all-accessibility\/#progetti-educativi-accessibilit%C3%A0\"><b>Beyond the Gaze<\/b><\/a> is a project selected as one of five excellences among sixty candidates for the Lazio Region&#8217;s 2023 good practice call. The project, dedicated to primary and lower secondary school classes, involved a series of activities in the dark, aimed at discovering the museum&#8217;s works and the museum itself through the senses. The goal of the project was to provide a shared multisensory experience that could also foster the inclusion of blind or visually impaired children. The activity is the result of the thesis by Sara Maccioni, museum educator, as part of the Master&#8217;s program at the Catholic University of Milan in Educational Services for Artistic Heritage, Historical Museums, and Visual Arts.   <\/p><p>2024. Memories and stories from the cemetery <\/strong><\/a><span style=\"font-family: -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, 'Segoe UI', Roboto, 'Helvetica Neue', Arial, 'Noto Sans', sans-serif, 'Apple Color Emoji', 'Segoe UI Emoji', 'Segoe UI Symbol', 'Noto Color Emoji';\"> is the project selected as one of five excellences among fifty candidates for the Lazio Region&#8217;s 2024 good practice call. A sound path was created within the cemetery, collecting stories, testimonies, and impressions from citizens and making them available through audio recordings. The project involved the creation of a Participatory Guide to the Civic Museum, written in collaboration with museum visitors and three classes from the IIS Luca Paciolo in Bracciano (Tourism Technical and Art School branches). The Guide, available online under a copyleft license, presents the major works exhibited in the museum with photos, captions containing essential data about the work, and impressions written by
